Drawing with my pen, away from all distractions, I find myself craving stimulation. Everything is within reach, but I understand that going through this is the only way forward. I hold an amethyst close to my heart, hoping it will heal me. And it did. It’s the bit of hope that was needed//
Retake your power/
Against all forces that try to take your attention/
Intelligence has become purely intellectual/
Escape the compulsive behavior/
Escape the algorithms/
Find out what you are doing/
Develop the psychological strength/
You might think that’s impossible/
But it’s not impossible/
Because people live through catastrophe/
Collapsed after losing my breath.
A human without a foundation. A floating star in chaos, Only feeling the heart in it’s shell. The only bit of safety in existence.
The only way to continue is to go in.
The only way to continue is to walk through the citadel.
The only way, is to feel what the heart feels.
I held an amethyst to my heart to feel safe. The safety empowered my heart with love.
An energy of growth, an energy of hope.
The demons left,
The holes got filled with crystals,
But the walls will never come back.
And I don’t want these walls to come back.
Because now I can breathe.
Embracing the Citadel's Challenge" was auctioned during Cartography of the Soul, an on-chain digital art auction curated in collaboration with 1OF1. The event featured a group of artworks donated by visionary artists to benefit the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). Christie’s assembled more than 30 new works — many of which reflect the artists’ own profound experiences with psychedelics — from DeeKay, Dustin Yellin, Sam Spratt, Killer Acid, Mad Dog Jones, and more.
